Youth Cricket

Ashburton College 1st XI

The 1st XI will be playing in the Christchurch Metro 1st XI reserve grade again this season. The team led by co-captains Josh Gill and Sam Hall starts with a pre season trip to the Gold Coast for a series of 50 and 20 over matches. The team begins its Saturday competition matches in October and will be looking to top the table and get promoted after Christmas for the two day competition.

Ashburton College/Mount Hutt also have their match vs The Willows on November 13th and will be looking to tip them again like last season.

Year 9/10

Their will be two year 9/10 teams starting a new Mid Canterbury/Canterbury Country combined competition this season in a look to boost numbers. Ashburton College and Methven/Lauriston/Mount Hutt will be entering 2 teams in the 40 over a side home and away competition.

Year 11-13

This year Mid Canterbury Cricket are entering a year 11/12/13 team in the Christchurch Metro competition. This team comprises of a mixture of Ashburton College, Mount Hutt, Methven and Lauriston players wanting to play youth cricket.

Girls

Under the Ashburton College banner we have one team entered in the Christchurch womens competition. This team is mainly made up of Ashburton College and Mount Hutt students but play in a womens grade therefor can play adults. If your interested in playing please contact Mic Buchanan 027 439 0879.
